This month marks a massive milestone for Olsa Tools, our fifth anniversary. It's an overwhelming feeling to be entering into our sixth year of business. Over the past years, the team at Olsa Tools has grown tremendously, and we wanted to share our story of growth with you. Charles started the company as an avid car tinkerer who wanted a better way to organize his tools. From the concept logo to 5 years of success, here's a little history of how Olsa Tools got to where we are today.
Year One: Olsa Tools was Founded by Charles on July 1st, 2015, to make high-quality professional tools and organizers more accessible by cutting out the middleman. We had our first sale in mid-august on Amazon.com, and it was our Magnetic Hex Bit Organizer. We introduced our 2nd product, the Red Aluminum Socket Organizer (which is still one of our best sellers.) Charles decided to quit his full-time job to focus on the growth of Olsa Tools and was able to launch the first edition of our website by the end of the year.
Year Two: Olsa Tools was experiencing very rapid growth, and we couldn't be more excited about it! We added two new team members, and we moved into our first office space. During this time we also found that we could offer our product in Canada, so we expanded our market to include Canada by selling on Amazon.ca.
Year Three: We shortly outgrew our first office space and moved into a larger space where we continued to add more new products as quickly as we could while keeping the quality of our products up to the standards that we had become known for.
Year Four: Our staff more than doubled this year, allowing us to increase our product offering to include hand tools. The firs Hand Tool sale happened in March with our time-saving Innovative Push Reversible Ratcheting Wrench.
Year Five: This Year was one of our busiest! We went through a complete redesign of our website added more members to our team, we came in 17th in the 2019 Canadian Startup New Growth Companies with a 926% growth rate. Olsa Tools is a team of people that are dedicated to working hard to offer mechanics high-quality professional tools that don't break the bank so they can do more of what they enjoy and do better financially. We have served over 350,000 customers and are looking forward to what our team will be able to accomplish in the future.
