I was sent a set of these for a review, I received the green SAE 3pc set. The color is visually stunning, I like at how bright they are. They are well built and better then other brands that I have tried in the past. The post seem to be built thicker then your average, which might cause some fitment issues on some sockets. As these are designed to hold the socket upside down, they fit 98% of my sockets. The only issue I ran into was on my 3/8 drive I had one socket that would not fit on, and I think that was a tool error on the socket and not the holder itself, and the 1/4" my 12pt 3/16 fit but my 6pt did not. Again I beleive this to be a error on the tool and not the socket tray. Overall I am very pleased with this set and it will have a place in my tool box for many years (or as long as it holds up) I would like to see the metric version come back in stock as I would order that without a second thought to have a complete set to organize my sockets.
Thanks for the helpful feedback Diesel. We appreciate your support! Have a great day!
We have purchased four sets of these for our shop and love them. Waiting for the metric version to get back in stock!
Thanks for the feedback, Scott!
I was very pleased, now I want to get some for my metric sockets
Awesome Bob! We're happy to know you love the socket organizer!
Been looking for a green set to match my box for the longest time but didn't want to shell out Snappy prices (and didn't need/want the 3-row version). Now they just need to make a metric set so ALL of my trays can match.
Awesome! Glad you love the Socket Tray so far, Jeremy!
Socket Storage Trays - 3 piece set
WOW!!! I couldn't believe that I was opening THESE 3 days after placing the order!! Granted, I am right across the Delaware river but even THAT distance can take a week. I held BACK on a five star review for only one reason, and I noticed someone else made the same comment. I personally would have preferred the sockets to rest the other way. I'm not a professional mechanic and fractions were NOT my strongest subject, but I can look at a nut or bolt and eye up the size opening I would most likely NEED. I KNOW what size ratchet I'm using, and the sizes are marked but I don't work THAT WAY. You would actually save money on materials by using 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch plastic squares at the bottom of your posts. JUST MY OPINION! Other than that "personal hang up", I will tell everyone I know what a GREAT product THIS IS!!!
Thanks for the feedback David! We'll definitely take a mental note. Cheers!
