Will the insert pull out of the socket when I remove it from a bolt? +

No, it stays firmly inside. The inserts are engineered to press-fit snugly against the inner walls of your socket, providing enough friction to stay put when you pull the tool away from a fastened bolt.

Do these fit thick-walled impact sockets or just chrome? +

They fit both. The tough, slightly flexible housing material adapts seamlessly to the inner dimensions of thin-walled chrome and heavy-duty impact sockets alike.

Do they work on both 6-point and 12-point sockets? +

Yes, a single insert works on both. The outer profile is designed to grip the main flats of a standard 6-point socket while easily wedging into the tighter corners of a 12-point socket.

How do I remove or adjust them once they are pushed inside? +

It takes just a few seconds. You can easily hook them out from the front with a standard pocket pick, or push them all the way through from the drive end using an extension bar or hex key.
